A Little introduction….
So I thought we’d do a little introduction post because we’ve had a lot of new followers in the last couple of months!
My names Ed (bottom of the photo) and I run Shropshire Kiln Dried Firewood, and at the top of the photo is Bill my little lad (the real boss and the star of the show)!
We’re a small family run business based just outside of Oswestry and we’re committed to supplying top quality firewood, and 5 star services as reasonably priced as we possibly can to customers across the whole of Shropshire!
We’ve been supplying firewood to our amazing customers for over 10 years now, unfortunately last year our Facebook page was hacked which had just shy of 3,000 followers and 100s of 5 star reviews so we’ve had to start from scratch again but that’s ok we like a challenge!
We pride ourselves on supplying top quality, kiln dried, ready to burn firewood! Sourced sustainably, processed to 8 inches with nothing to big going into our bags/loose tipped loads to suite even the smallest of log burners/open fires, sustainably kiln dried, delivered to our customers included within the price! We have a load size to suite everyone, nets, barrow bags and 1.2 cubic metre loose tipped loads available up to 3.6 cubic metres!
We’re out there talking to customers daily whilst carrying out delivery’s and a theme we’re seeing at the minute is a lot of customers worrying about the rising cost of energy, so we’ve introduced a couple of new money saving loads for our customers! We don’t want to raise our prices unless it’s absolutely necessary, so we’ve tightened up how efficiently we run our operation and come up with a couple of solutions to keep our running costs down and save our amazing customers some money!
Here’s our current solutions:
The first option! The more you buy, the more you save available on our 1.2 cubic metre loose tipped kiln dried loads, order 2.4 cubic metres and save £10 order 3.6 cubic metres and save £20, discounted logs for yourselves and reduced delivery time and fuel for us it’s a winner both ways!
The second option! If you’ve got room to season your own logs and want to save yourself £40 per load on the equivalent kiln dried load then this is for you! Please note these logs are unseasoned/wet and will need seasoning before burning! Discounted logs for yourselves, and reduced drying costs for us another winner both ways!

We don’t just supply top quality firewood though…… we also supply woodchip perfect for gardens, allotments, chicken coops etc, barrow bags are available to order through our website or if you’d like a larger load just message our page and we can quote on an individual basis!
We also supply quality bbq/meat smoking chunks in large nets, various options available including pear, cherry, oak and apple! We haven’t yet added these to our website but it will be done before summer when we get a moment!
